National Park - Plitvice lakes

Plitvice Lakes National Park is a 295-sq.-km forest reserve in central Croatia. It's known for a chain of 16 terraced lakes, joined by waterfalls, that extend into a limestone canyon. Walkways and hiking trails wind around and across the water, and an electric boat links the 12 upper and 4 lower lakes. The latter is the site of Veliki Slap, a 78m-high waterfall.

Paklenica National Park is a protected area in Croatia. It’s known for the dramatic canyons of Velika and Mala Paklenica, plus karst rock formations and black-pine forests. Manita Peć cave features stalagmites, stalactites and numerous bat species. The park is also home to eagles, falcons, deer and bears. The Mala Paklenica Educational Center has exhibits on endangered birds of prey. Trails criss-cross the park.

The unique panoramic road across Velebit mountain. Built 1832 god. In that time it was only road direction Wien-Zagreb-Zadar. Goes over mountain top: Mali Alan altitude 1.048 m. Maximum angle 5,5%, length 41km. Construction lasted for 7 years. On that location shooting of the movie, "Winnetou" took place during the year 1963. The road name is Meisterstuci. We recommned dirrection: Gračac-Sveti rok/Lovinac/-Mali Alan-Zaton Obrovački-Gračac. In place of Zaton on a turn to Gračac there is an excellent restaurant we recommend.

Ribnica - Nearest Sea Beach

For guests who would like to take advantage of close proximity to the sea take a swim and in the evening chill in cool temperatures of Lika, we recommend Ribnica - Karin, distance from camp 35km

starigrad - seline beach

For guests who would like to take advantage of close proximity to the sea take a swim and in the evening chill in cool temperatures of Lika, we recommend Seline, distance from camp 47km.
